This time last year, I was thinking that it was fairly unlikely that I would still be in England by now, but here I am. The past year has been a bit like being in car crash, where the slow-motion part, just before the impact, goes on and on for a whole year. All the same international problems are still here, and with all the situations apparently rapidly deteriorating. There are still rumours that Iran is to be attacked, from the air, at some point. The Iranians, meanwhile, still seem to be trying to be as provocative as is possible without using actual violence, and you have to wonder why. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53577 The Iraq and Afghanistan wars are not going at all well. The war between Israel and Lebanon was unexpected and looked very much like it would escalate, and then ended with Hezbollah claiming they won. The Israeli government is not appearing to be very sensible, or competent, and nor are the Bush government, and particularly not the Blair government here in England. This makes events much harder to predict. Enemies may attack unexpectedly, and bad decisions may be made. Here in London we have already had Russians using radioactive isotopes to poison each other in public places. The Ethiopians have attacked the Islamists in Somalia. I don't know how wise a move that was. So far, it looks a great success, with the Islamists on the run, but I don't know what is supposed to stop the Islamists from creeping back again. http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/story/0,,1980154,00.html At least Axum is on the opposite side of Ethiopia from the Somali border. Watching the BBC News 24, on Saturday, I found I was watching Saddam being fitted with a noose, at least 4 times per hour, which clashed a bit, in my mind, with all the jolly Christmas shows on the non-news channels. Andy   Exodus 2006 - NEWSLETTER - No.39 - 12th November 2006 - Not much of an "October Surprise". It has been a few months since I last wrote a newsletter, mainly because it has been fairly quiet since then; so there hasn't been much to write about. The last newsletter was about the speculations on what might happen on the 22nd of August, the ending of the Hebrew year 5766 in September, and the prospects of an "October surprise" before the recent US elections. None of these have turned out to be anything very interesting or noticable. There is a slight question mark over whether the Hebrew year has really ended. My idea that 2006 would be the year that the end times began was based originally on what the Prophet Daniel reported (see http://www.exodus2006.com/2daniel.htm), and not based on Bible codes, although there have been some codes found, since then, that did seem to be backing that up. Back in Daniel's time the Hebrew year started and ended in the spring, and nobody seems to know if they changed it by having an extra long year, or by an extra short year. Do let me know if you have any information about that. This means that, possibly, this year runs until next spring, on Daniel's count, and has not yet ended. Apart from that, there are no predictions of any future dates from other sources, such as Bible codes, so we will just have to wait and see - as usual. Currently, the most substantive rumours of wars, concern Iran, where both the US and Israel are said to be planning an attack shortly, and Iran says it is ready and expecting to be attacked. This is a situation that could develop rapidly and unexpectedly, like the war with Hezbollah did - plus we have some other unpredictable situations elsewhere, like North Korea building nukes and testing missiles. The situation, all year, and in many places, has been like watching something being bent under pressure, and waiting for it to break suddenly. Andy   Exodus 2006 - NEWSLETTER - No.38 - 20th August 2006 - Speculations about the 22nd of August. It was something of a relief when August the 3rd passed without any nuclear weapons being used in the middle-east, and I was further relieved when the cease-fire was observed by both sides in Lebanon - something I hadn't really expected. However, around the same time, several worrying reports appeared; all indicating a lot more trouble and soon. In fact, I have so much material here I have been puzzling over the best way to present it all. The first report I saw was this - America will attack Iran, Syria in October: Gul Wednesday August 02, 2006 (0950 PST) - http://www.paktribune.com/news/index.shtml?151249 RAWALPINDI: The former chief of ISI, Maj. Gen (R) Hameed Gul has "predicted" that America would definitely attack Iran and Syria simultaneously in October. He was talking after attending the Hamdard Majlis Shoora, Tuesday evening. He also condemned the lackluster and weak reaction of Pakistan and Islamic bloc about Israel's attack of Lebanon. Analyzing the current war scenario he observed that war has both political and strategic factors and despite "using" Israel, America has lost the war in Lebanon, where masses have united against the recent Israeli onslaught, and would have been more formidable if the generals of Saddam had not sold out to American dollars. He analyzed that Israel would soon be "forced" to stop its land strikes but would continue its horrific and heinous air strikes against Lebanon, converting it to ruins. He also "predicted" that after Iran and Syria, Saudi Arabia would also meet the same fate, followed by Pakistan. You might think "what does he know", but he has the ear of important people in the Islamic world, and if that is what he is telling them, they probably are taking him seriously. If the leaders of these countries expect to be attacked in October, they must be thinking about making an attack first, and will certainly be considering their defense and a good retaliation. Then the report came out about the 22nd of August in the Islamic calendar. A couple of months ago, when the UN was being used to pressure Iran about their nuclear program, it was being demanded that they give a reply to a proposed solution. Stephen Hadley said it would be "helpful" to have a response before a cycle of G8 meetings began on 29 June. On Wednesday Iran's president said a reply would come on 22 August." When a statement by the Supreme National Security Council of Iran says it will reply by Aug. 22 to the Western incentive package to stop enriching uranium, it chose that date for a very precise reason. August 21, 2006 (Rajab 27, 1427) is known in the Islamic calendar as the Night of the Sira’a and Miira'aj, the night Prophet Mohammed (saas) ascended to heaven from the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on a Bourak (Half animal, half man), while a great light lit-up the night sky, and visited Heaven and Hell also Beit al-Saada and Beit al-Shaqaa (House of Happiness and House of Misery) and then descended back to Mecca. The night of August 21 is a very, very important night in Shia'a Islam. What Iran's Ahmadinajead is promising the world by August 22 is the light in the sky over the Aqsa Mosque that took place the night before. That is his answer to the package of incentives the international community offered Iran on June 6. The world and especially the US State Department should take this date seriously. Nothing happens without a reason in Iran and the events in Lebanon were intentionally started by Hezbollah, with Iran's tacit knowledge and approval leading to the Rajab 27 night when it delivers its answer, in the form of "light in the sky", over the Aqsa Mosque. - Farid Ghadry, president of the Reform Party of Syria. I am reminded of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, where they had diplomats delivering a reply to Washington, and it was supposed to coincide with their fleet of aircraft-carriers ariving at Hawaii. On the day, the diplomats arrived a bit late and the attack had already been started before they got the reply delivered. In this case with Iran, you tend to think it would be irrational to strike first, knowing what the retaliation will be, but there isn't much deterrance in a situation where they expect to be attacked anyway. On the less rational side, the Iranians believe in a final apocalyptic war where the Mahdi will step in from above and destroy all their enemies. Even as I write this, there is a major mobilization underway, in Iran, which is being described as "exercises" - http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/world/4128903.html Meanwhile, there are credible reports that America is planning to launch a series of air-strikes against Iran. It is being suggested that the military have persuaded the government that they should not use nuclear "bunker-busters" as part of this strategy, but they are still planning a 3 week bombing campaign, along the lines of what was done to Lebanon. Strategy Meetings - (full story here, towards the bottom of the page - http://archivesone.150m.com/page283.html ) Though the immediate conflict between Israel and Hezbollah was touched off by a Hezbollah cross-border raid on July 12 that captured two Israeli soldiers, the longer-term U.S.-Israeli strategy can be traced back to the May 23, 2006, meetings between Olmert and Bush in Washington. At those meetings, Olmert discussed with Bush Israel's plans for revising its timetable for setting final border arrangements with the Palestinians, putting those plans on the back burner while moving the Iranian nuclear program to the front burner. In effect, Olmert informed Bush that 2006 would be the year for stopping Iran's progress toward a nuclear bomb and 2007 would be the year for redrawing Israel's final borders. That schedule fit well with Bush's priorities, which may require some dramatic foreign policy success before the November congressional elections. At a joint press conference with Bush on May 23, Olmert said "this is a moment of truth" for addressing Iran's alleged ambitions to build a nuclear bomb. "The Iranian threat is not only a threat to Israel, it is a threat to the stability of the Middle East and the entire world," Olmert said. "The international community cannot tolerate a situation where a regime with a radical ideology and a long tradition of irresponsible conduct becomes a nuclear weapons state." Olmert also said he was prepared to give the Palestinians some time to accept Israel's conditions for renewed negotiations on West Bank borders, but - if Palestinian officials didn't comply - Israel was prepared to act unilaterally. The prime minister said Israel would "remove most of the [West Bank] settlements which are not part of the major Israeli population centers in Judea and Samaria. The settlements within the population centers would remain under Israeli control and become part of the state of Israel, as part of the final status agreement." In other words, Israel would annex some of the most desirable parts of the West Bank regardless of Palestinian objections. That meant the Israelis would need to soften up Hamas, the Islamic militants who won the last Palestinian elections, and their supporters in the Islamic world - especially Hezbollah, Syria and Iran. In a speech to a joint session of Congress, Olmert added that the possibility of Iran building a nuclear weapon was "an existential threat" to Israel, meaning that Israel believed its very existence was in danger. Nuclear Face-Off Even before the May 23 meetings, Bush was eyeing a confrontation with Iran as part of his revised strategy for remaking the Middle East. Bush was staring down Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad over demands Iran back off its nuclear research. By spring 2006, Bush was reportedly weighing military options for bombing Iran's nuclear facilities. But the President encountered resistance from senior levels of the U.S. military, which feared the consequences, including the harm that might come to more than 130,000 U.S. troops bogged down in neighboring Iraq. There was also alarm among U.S. generals over the White House resistance to removing tactical nuclear weapons as an option against Iran. As investigative reporter Seymour Hersh wrote in The New Yorker, a number of senior U.S. officers were troubled by administration war planners who believed "bunker-busting" tactical nuclear weapons, known as B61-11s, were the only way to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities buried deep underground. "Every other option, in the view of the nuclear weaponeers, would leave a gap," a former senior intelligence official told Hersh. "'Decisive' is the key word of the Air Force's planning. It's a tough decision. But we made it in Japan." This former official said the White House refused to remove the nuclear option from the plans despite objections from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "Whenever anybody tries to get it out, they're shouted down," the ex-official said. [New Yorker, April 17, 2006] By late April, however, the Joint Chiefs finally got the White House to agree that using nuclear weapons to destroy Iran's uranium-enrichment plant at Natanz, less than 200 miles south of Tehran, was politically unacceptable, Hersh reported. "Bush and Cheney were dead serious about the nuclear planning," one former senior intelligence official said. But - even without the nuclear option - senior military officials still worried about a massive bombing campaign against Iran. Hersh wrote: "Inside the Pentagon, senior commanders have increasingly challenged the President's plans, according to active-duty and retired officers and officials. The generals and admirals have told the Administration that the bombing campaign will probably not succeed in destroying Iran's nuclear program. They have also warned that an attack could lead to serious economic, political, and military consequences for the United States." Hersh quoted a retired four-star general as saying, "The system is starting to sense the end of the road, and they don't want to be condemned by history. They want to be able to say, 'We stood up.' " [New Yorker, July 10, 2006 ] The most immediate concern of U.S. military leaders was that air strikes against Iran could prompt retaliation against American troops in Iraq. U.S. military trainers would be especially vulnerable since they work within Iraqi military and police units dominated by Shiites who are sympathetic to Iran. Iran also could respond to a bombing campaign by cutting off oil supplies, sending world oil prices soaring and throwing the world economy into chaos. The first warning is from Alex Jones, and I am taking him quite seriously because he did predict the 911 attacks in July of 2001, about six weeks before it happened, and I don't know of anyone else who predicted it. He says this is his only his second warning - and last time he was right. He says it will be worse than last time and before the November elections. He claims to expose a mega-terror plot against Jerusalem scheduled for August 22, which aims at killing large numbers of Jews, Arabs and Christians. This atrocity will reportedly arm the United States and Israel with the pretext for hitting Iran’s nuclear installations, as well its capital, Tehran, and other big cities. Shabhazi says the US and Israel need to launch a military campaign to restore the deterrent strength they lost in the Lebanon war. The massive attack will reportedly focus on the Old City of Jerusalem and its eastern suburbs. The Iranian report claims that the plotters, who are not identified, are eager to recreate the divine white light whish spread over Jerusalem in the year 632. It does not rule out the use of a non-conventional weapon. DEBKAfile reports that the authorities in Israel do not appear to be taking this threat seriously, unlike Washington – and Tehran. Deeply impressed, Iran’s rulers launched a large-scale are, sea and ground exercise Saturday, Aug. 19. The maneuver, dubbed the Blow of Zolfaghar (the sword used by Imam Ali), involves 12 divisions, army Chinook helicopters, unmanned planes, parachutists, electronic war units and special forces. State-run television reported a new anti-aircraft system was tested “to make Iranian air space unsafe for our enemies.” The massive military exercise will spread over 14 of Iran’s 30 provinces and last about five weeks. DEBKAfile adds: The point of this massive display of might is in fact to place Iran’s armed forces on the ready for the contingency of a US-Israeli offensive on August 22 as per Shabhazi’s prediction. The exercise will be moved to Tehran to prepare the capital for a potential assault. August 22, furthermore, is also the day of Iran’s formal reply to the incentives packages on offer from the West in return for halting its uranium enrichment projects. My advice is to buy fuel for your car, get some cash out of the bank, and generally stock-up, and do it tomorrow. Also, try to avoid being in any of the major cities, as far as possible, during the next week. If anything does happen; watch out for another newsletter. Andy     Exodus 2006 - NEWSLETTER - No.37 - 27th July 2006 - The Current Situation It is less than a week now until the date that I thought to be the most likely for the end times to begin. I have a new page online, based on an email from David Nix, that explains the significance of this date - http://www.exodus2006.com/Tisha-B-Av.htm This year it is on August the 3rd, and when I first put the website online I made a "countdown clock" to that date, and at the time there was still 7 years and 2 months left. Now it is down to 6 days, and there is a serious war going on in the mid-east already - and my suspicion was that this date would bring a nuclear attack on Israel. http://www.exodus2006.com/Clock.htm I am not saying this will definitely happen. It is about 30 years since I first became interested in figuring out when the end times would happen, and it was about 10 years ago that I started to feel fairly sure it will be in 2006. My suggestion of August the 3rd was more like an educated guess, but I felt it was better to say what I thought, rather than just say nothing and wait. Now that a steadily escalating war has broken out, I am quite alarmed that I might be right, and I have been contemplating writing this newsletter against the background of things getting worse daily. The previous few newsletters have looked at happenings in Iran, and whether they might already have obtained nuclear weapons from Ukraine. The Iranian president made a speech where he said "everything is now in place" and just before Hamas captured that first IDF soldier. The Hamas plan took time to arrange; they had to dig a tunnel, and I think it was probably part of a larger plan than most people are thinking. Once the IDF were around Gaza in force, that was when Hezbollah mounted their attack. I don't think this was a coincidence, and Hezbollah seem to have been well prepared. Clearly the initiative was with Hamas and Hezbollah, and Israel has had to react to these attacks. My belief is that Israel has wasted a valuable stockpile of laser-guided bombs hitting various "targets" in Lebanon that Hezbollah can easily manage without. Hezbollah's main strategy seems to be to encourage Israel to send the IDF into Lebanon; where they have ambushes waiting, and I don't think they are looking for a cease-fire. Today Israel is calling up even more reserves and is saying they expect it to take several more weeks of fighting. My suspicion, is that the larger plan, is to get the IDF tied down in south Lebanon, and then another front will be opened up somewhere else. Syria has already said they will intervene if Israel invades Lebanon, and that is the only way Israel can hope to stop the Hezbollah missile attacks. Reports today are that a missile has hit an Israeli chemical plant, and many more have fallen into the northern towns. Iran has said they will intervene if Syria is attacked. So I don't see much chance that this won't escalate, and if it does escalate it might turn out very badly, particularly if this is a planned offensive by Iran and Syria. A few days ago the Iranian president said that Israel's actions in Lebanon have pushed the button for Israel's destruction - and I think he had something in mind when he said that. As is mentioned in that Tisha B'Av article, above, there is Bible prophecy that Damascus will become a heap of uninhabited rubble, and lately we have had people talking unwisely about "peace and security". I don't suppose all this will happen next Thursday, but it might not be a good day, I have a bad feeling about it. Andy Exodus 2006 - NEWSLETTER - No.36 - 20th May 2006 The last newsletter had the likelihood of war with Iran and also the fragmented comet as it's main concerns. This is still the case with this newsletter, but the situation has now developed in such a way that next week is particularly in focus. This is because, since the last newsletter, there has been a lot of talk on the Internet about a prediction of an impact on the 25th of May, next Thursday. I hadn't personally taken much notice of this prediction because it is just based on one person's "vision" - and he is mainly backing it up with crop-circles and UFO stories. I still don't give it much credence, but it is being widely reported across the Internet, and the Bible codes have also been mentioned recently, and, as a result, I have noticed that activity on my website has gone up from about 20,000 pages a day to about 40,000 pages a day. Most of the 64 named fragments have passed by already, but astronomers are saying there may be fragments, appearing as meteorites, hitting the atmosphere anytime until mid June. From New Scientist - http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg19025524.500.html Comet near-miss Comet 73P has broken up into at least 58 pieces, which by Thursday will have passed within 12 million kilometres of Earth. That is only 30 times as far away as the moon, making it the closest approach by a comet within the past 20 years. This originally came to light as a result of Al Sutton doing a study to look for this year's dates coded into the Old Testament. They don't know why it broke up, or how many pieces there are. It may have been hit by something since the pieces are quite spread out. The object that makes the closest approach is 2 weeks behind the main group, and has a noticeably different orbit. There could be a whole range of dark objects that haven't been seen yet. I would guess there is about a 50% chance of the Earth getting hit, sometime in May or June, by a fragment we haven't seen yet. It will just be down to luck, if we do get hit, how big it is, and where it lands. Here we are in 2006, already; something that was years away when I first constructed the website. Back then, in 1999, it was difficult to imagine how bitter nuclear wars might break out by 2006, but now all the pieces are there and are being talked about in the press. The new Iranian president has taken a very aggressive approach and appears to be intent on getting the war started as soon as possible. There are 2 fairly likely reasons for this seemingly foolish tactic. This will then continue as the world is overtaken by serious natural disasters. The second line to Iranian thinking, probably, is that they have a good retaliation planned. You need to remember that Iran isn't a simple dictatorship where everyone has to just answer to the whims of one person. They have well-educated planners and military staff. They have been working with the Russians and have some good missiles, possibly secret nukes, and have had several years to make plans. Here are some ideas about a retaliation. http://mensnewsdaily.com/Library/widgets/2006/01/irans-top-secret-5-point-battle-plan.html (1) The removal of Iranian funds (already begun) from all foreign banks where those funds could be seized as a result of sanctions and war; (2) The destruction of oil facilities in Gulf states hosting US forces or otherwise friendly to the US, and the mining of the Persian Gulf, in order to drive oil prices above $100/barrel and adversely effect financial markets; (3) The weakening of US and European national resolve to win a war against Iran by causing massive US and European casualties requiring deployment of reinforcing forces, attacking into Iraq and the Gulf waters with conventional forces and weapons (such as ballistic missiles), the possible use of chemical and biological weapons on the Iraqi battlefield, and a massive increase in the number and level of terrorist attacks within Iraq (for which Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have been laying the groundwork since the spring of 2003); (4) The use of "Fifth Column" forces against US, European and Israeli targets, with the forces consisting of terrorist cells from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, with which Iranian President Ahmadinejad met on 20 January 2006 in Syria, and; (5) The attacking of Israel with ballistic missiles, possibly with the aid of Syria, with the intent of causing great damage to Tel Aviv, Haifa and other major Israeli cities, and the destruction of Israel’s nuclear weapons facility at Dimona, which the Iranians hope will spread radiation across a wide area. My own suggestion for an item (6) would be fire a nuke at China so that it looks like an American attack. The Chinese are still upset over that cruise missile attack on their Belgrade embassy. These are just some suggestions, since we don't know what they are planning. The Iranians, however, must have a good idea what to expect from America. They must have studied tactics used on Iraq in some detail. They are getting satellite imagery from Russia too, and Americans are in the media saying what they will attack, and how they will do it. Very spectacular in the dark before dawn and it was heard as far away as Holland. So I got up and watched the story unfold on the 24 hour news. Next day there were 3 news crews with platform lift trucks at my local shops and several news helicopters hovering around the smoke plume. Al Sutton had another look at the coded date and was able to find some other terms that do make it a reasonable looking code - once you knew the details. The code does somewhat give the impression that the coder did not want an advance warning to get out. So, as usual, it is hard to feel 100% sure, either way, about whether or not the codes were an aid to the prediction of real events. The New Orleans situation gives you some idea why it will be most important to be a long way from any cities before there are any world-wide disasters. Sometimes I am just too busy to get everything done and I was kept busy with computer jobs just before and after Christmas. So far I have only had one letter - all I know at the moment is that he arrived in Ethiopia. I have a feeling we are now in the calm before the storm but I have no idea what storm or how long the calm will last. There have been a few updates to the website since the last newsletter. Alex was very nice to talk to and managed to keep feeding me questions. The main topic was Bible codes but we wandered through a variety of other topics as well. There has been a lot of interesting research done recently into Bible codes about the year 2006. This recent work shows that there are several hundred more codes about the year 2006 in the Torah than you would expect by chance. Another finding is that the words "comet" and "meteor" are found more commonly coded with 2006 than you would expect by chance. Overall, the excess numbers of 2006 codes is about a million to one against being by chance alone. There was a notable hoax that caused a lot of excitement for a few days. Although the main story was untrue it did bring some items to my attention that I might have otherwise missed. All are Bible code related in one way or another. The most important is perhaps the "Sign in the Sky" code which is based on a vision by "Haniel" - part of the text of which is on the page with the code. http://www.exodus2006.com/sign.htm This is a sign that will be seen in the sky towards the end of the end days. It will look like a star-like red cross and will be visible in daylight. I hope we will be in Axum before we see this in the sky. There is a second text about another sign. This is the first sign and the time when we should go - I am still looking for a code for this but it will be easy enough to see. The prediction is that Jerusalem will be taken over by Hamas fighters. I already have a code on the website that I thought was predicting the nuclear destruction of Jerusalem - but the code only implies Jerusalem is the target - the actual target may be the Israeli defence forces. http://www.exodus2006.com/atomcodeJ.htm If you hear that Jerusalem is captured or destroyed - it is time to buy that air ticket. A newsworthy "first" was to have a code online in advance of the event occurring. http://www.exodus2006.com/Rantissi.htm This is another code by Fabrice Bect from France - he has been finding many very interesting codes recently and I am grateful to be allowed to use them online. The Rantissi code was found by Fab the day it was announced that Rantissi would take over as leader of Hamas after the killing of Yassin. The code was online for a few weeks as "Future killing of Rantissi". There are a great many new codes by Fab on a variety of topics. If you have time send me a quick reply - it is the only way I know they arrived ok.   Exodus 2006 NEWSLETTER No.20 http://www.exodus2006.com/ 3rd March 2004 There is not much new material on the website to report in this newsletter, I am still too busy with work, not enough hours in the day, but there have been many interesting reports about a number of subjects - so there is plenty of material for a newsletter. Thanks to all those who emailed me with these. One of the first sent to me were the results of an analysis of an ice core from an African mountain. http://researchnews.osu.edu/archive/kilicores.htm The dates for the beginning of the glacier and the catastrophic cold/drought episodes are all familiar from other researches into the distant past. The first date 11,700 years ago is not long after the date of 12,500 years ago that is being suggested by researchers for the time when a number of ancient sites were aligned with the constellations. Giza with Orion - and Ankh Hor Wat (Cambodia) with Draco. This is also known to have been a time of climate changes and there is also some evidence of impacts from space at this time. The 11,700 year date is a likely candidate for the date of the flood. The next date at 8,300 years is about as far back as the remains of the oldest organised societies that have been found so far. The era at 5,200 years ago is close to "year zero" for a number of ancient calendars - Sumerian, Mayan and Hebrew. Finally, the era at 4,000 years ago is the time of Abraham and the stories recorded by the Bible. The symptoms of the climate at these times, cold and drought, are consistent with a "cosmic winter" caused by smoke and dust from an impact blocking the sunlight. Without the sun warming the surface waters of the oceans there is hardly any rain. There is a comet that passes close to Earth in 2006 and it has broken up. http://cometography.com/pcomets/073p.html - "The next predicted perihelion date is 2006 June 7 and the comet will pass 0.0735 AU from Earth on May 13, being only slightly farther away than during the original discovery apparition of 1930. Important questions are: Will any of the secondary nuclei still exist? Will the comet still exist? A meteor shower was predicted and observed by Japanese observers during 1930, with an unexpected outburst of 60 or 70 per hour (this is not a corrected zenithal hourly rate, but the raw numbers) occurring on the nights of June 9 and 10. The possibility exists that another outburst could occur in 2006. If the comet no longer exists as of 2006, a meteor storm might be possible (see comet Biela)." This meteor storm might include large parts of the original comet nucleus. There is a report produced for the British government about the impact threat. They have produced a mathematical model of the planets orbits' - a model that tries to accurately take account of the gravity of the other planets on each other. They think they can trace the extinctions at 65 M and 220 M years to a storm of asteroids falling towards the Sun after influences from Jupiter and Saturn. They predict this will happen again in about another 30 M years. The report in New Scientist says that contamination is "pervasive, with 1% of seeds containing some modified genes". The big worry is that new crops are being engineered to produce drugs and chemicals - "pharm" crops - and these will probably also be in your food in the future. The Russians know they made 132 of them and they know where 48 are now - 84 are missing. Each one contains a 1-kiloton (1,000 tons of TNT) plutonium bomb, a timer and a key-activated switch. Also posted was an article mentioning the "road map" and 2006 in the codes. Here is part of it - "Torah Soft News - Issue 4 - Spring, 2004 ITCS V Conference Report The 5th annual convention of the International Torah Codes Society (ITCS) took place this past summer, June 11 and 12, in Jerusalem. Members of the ITCS heard talks on the latest scientific research conducted in the field of Bible codes over the past year. Two major ground breaking papers were presented and four additional papers involving systematic studies on particular codes patterns or subject material. Leib Schwartzman discussed a series of Bible codes matrices that he found connecting well-known prophetic passages in the Torah with shortest skip occurrences of code words related to those same prophetic verses. Several of those verse-matrix tableaus he related to the current troubles in the Middle East between the Arabs and the Jewish people, connecting them to the age long struggle between Ishmael and Eisav -Edom against Jacob-Israel. Several of the examples that he brought are: 1) The phrase 'lo am' - 'a nation that is not a nation' 'will rise up against you' is often understood to refer to prophesized troubles at the end of days. Near that same verse, M. Schwartzman found the phrase 'lo am she'kam' - 'a non nation arose' - and 'am she'lo am' - 'a people that is not a people' - encoded, along with the phrases 'b'nei Edom' - 'sons of Edom', and 'oyvei ami' - 'enemies of my people'. He drew a connection to the Palestinians, as a people that historically have never been a nation, having only in the last 60-100 years migrated to Israel-Palestine from Syria, Egypt, Kurdistan and other Islamic states. This migration only took place after the local economic development that accompanied the Zionist movement from the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. 2) The phrases 'yerushas ami' - 'the inheritance of my people', 'ami yerusha' - 'my people will inherit', are found near the argument between Eisav and Jacob over their father's blessing for the land of Israel. He asks, "Is this not the continuation of the same argument that we are witnessing today?" 3) The phrase 'hagalut tamah - yavo mar' - 'the exile will end [and] and the master [Messiah] will come' - is found near the phrase 'nachon 5766' - 'it is true for the year 2006'. Both coded phrases are found near the prophecy of the sorcerer Bilaam - 'and a star will come forth from Jacob and a tribe will be established from Israel (Num. 24:17), prophesizing, perhaps, more profound historical events to come in the years ahead.
